Why it exists

What the fee pays for

The monthly plan pays for running the site: hosting, revisions, articles and keeping it fast. The build fee pays for the work of making it in the first place, which happens once. That is why it is only invoiced after the site is live and you have said you are happy with it.

    A page for every service you sell and every town you clean, written and designed for your business rather than dropped into a template.

  • The quote tool, wired in

    Square footage, frequency and access asked up front, and every request landing wherever your enquiries already go.

  • Moving what you already have

    What is worth keeping from your old site is carried over and the old addresses are redirected, so the search visibility you earned is not thrown away.

  • Launch, done properly

    Domain, hosting, SSL and a 90+ PageSpeed score on mobile before anyone sees it. The monthly plan keeps it there after launch.

How paying works

    Stripe opens its own secure checkout for a single payment. Your card details go to Stripe and nowhere else.

    Stripe emails the receipt as soon as the payment clears, and you come back here to a confirmation page.

Questions about the build fee

Is this a subscription?

No. The build fee is a single $647 payment, charged once. Nothing on this page repeats, and paying it does not change your monthly plan, which is billed separately.

Do I need to pay this?

Only if we have told you a build fee is due, which happens after your site is live and you have approved it. Plans started on or before December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived, so if yours was one of them there is nothing to pay here. If you are not sure, email hello@getcleaningwebsite.com before paying.

Why is the amount the same on every plan?

Because the build is the same work on every plan: the service pages, the town pages, the quote tool, the design and the launch. The plans differ in what happens every month after launch, such as articles and the AI Engine, and that difference is in the monthly price, not in this fee.

Is paying here safe?

The payment is taken by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, never to GetCleaningWebsite or this website, and Stripe emails you a receipt as soon as the payment clears.

Can the build fee be refunded?

Every payment is final once it is taken, including the build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by us, which is corrected once it is reported. The refund policy sets this out in full, and it is worth reading before you pay.
